Data Protection
Kingfisher Music is committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we hold in order to manage our relationship with you.
What details we ask for and why
There is a minimum level of information we need to obtain from you when you order goods (sheet music) from our website.
We ask you for a name and a title so we know how to address you. We also need a contact e-mail address, which is mandatory. We will seek your permission separately to use this information for our wider marketing communications, such as contacting you with information about new releases, which you can accept or decline.
We also ask for you for a house number and a postcode so that we hold a valid postal address for you. This information is needed to enable us to be able to take card payments from you and to deliver your goods accurately.
To ensure that the data we hold about you is accurate, we may occasionally use information sources such as Postcode Finder which are in the public domain to verify your postal address.
We will store the information we hold until your order has been completed and for seven years thereafter - pursuant to the statutory retention obligation.
Under the Data Protection Act and General Data Protection Regulations you may request details of the personal information we hold about you at any time. If you would like a copy of the information held please write to us by email at: sales@kingfishermusicpublishing.com
Security and Privacy
Kingfisher Music takes the security and protection of your personal and card details seriously. When payments are made for orders placed on the website your card details are transmitted over an industry standard SSL Certificated secure connection.
The SSL Certified secure connection does not permit Kingfisher Music access to your full card details and at no time whatsoever does Kingfisher Music store the card details of any of its customers.
We will not share, sell, distribute, or lease your personal information to third parties.
We may need to share limited information with our service providers who help us to process, prepare and send you your goods orders.
We do not however allow these organisations to use your data for their own purpose and we take care to ensure that they keep your data secure and delete it when it is no longer needed.

We only use the information the cookies generate for statistical analysis purposes and then the data is immediately removed from the system.
Cookies help us to provide a better website by enabling us to monitor which pages our customers and visitors find useful and those they do not.
Cookies do not give us access to your computer or divulge any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with us when making an order for goods on our website.
You can choose to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept them, but you can usually modify your browser settings to decline cookies if you prefer. Doing this however may prevent you from taking full advantage of the website.
